Les sourire du printemps.
English version below the picture

Encouraged by sunny weather and blue skies, I went for a walk in the garden.
I was greeted by the peonies displaying their beauty and the more discreet but very pretty blue columbines too. Janine took a picture.
of these pretty flowers.
As you can see I can’t work in the garden at the moment but I can still walk there. It shows that I’m a bit better
It is good to see you back, Michel, up and walking in your garden! It is lovely! Spring is a good time for healing.
Love to you, Janine and the family, ❤️
Lavinia
Thanks Lavinia . I hope to be better and better.
Merci Carole
So happy you are able to get out and enjoy. Even the smallest effort lightens our spirits. Many prayers and love to you both!
Yes Nancy, the smallest effort lightens our spirits ❤
I am so happy to see this post from you, Michel, and that you’re feeling a bit better. It must be bittersweet to get out into your garden and not be able to dig around in it, but at least you got to enjoy the sunshine and flowers.
Christine ❤️
You are right ,Christine. I would want to work in the garden but It would not be prudent . ❤
So happy to know that you are up and about, Michel. A walk in the garden must have helped you to feel even better — one step at a time!
Fondly —
Yes this makes me more serene, Janet.
Tu as raison.
Very thankful to God that you are better. I have prayed for your recovery. Spring has finally arrived in Michigan. Overnight the flowers have bloomed and there are leaves on the trees. The grass is green and needs mowing. The girls and I are busy working on a big garden this year.
I hope you can enjoy all that is surrounding you. ♥️Rachel
Michigan often got a wet weather but here is summer soon , Rachel . ❤
Such a pretty area to walk. We have skipped Spring and are now in Summer.
What about your garden, Bonnie ? ❤
lovely photo Michel … so very glad to know that you are both alive and enjoying spring! One day unfolds at a time 🙂
It is always nice to walk in the garden . There are so many things that speak to us, Kate.
exactly so Michael, and your home, family and faith give you strength!
Yes Kate and I need them ❤
as they need your loving kindness Michel 🙂

I am delighted that you are feeling better, Michel, and walking in your garden among the gorgeous peonies! Love to you and Jeanine and your big, wonderful family! ❤ ❤ ❤ Cheryl
I am so happy to read your kind words, Cherryl.
Dear Michel, I really hope you’re feeling much better now, and I’m so happy to see you post here! 🙂 Your beautiful garden has always been a great source of inspiration to you, and I very much enjoy seeing photos and reading about it. ❤
Thanks Marion , yes the garden is for me a bath in the nature ❤
Yay! There’s nothing like the garden in spring to revive the spirit! I think of you often when I’m out in my own garden enjoying the growth of the young plants and the wild poppies finally going to seed, so I can pull them out to plant my summer vegetables. If you were my neighbor, I would come over to your house and help you with your garden. You could talk to me in French while I did the weeding.
You are so kind , Judy. I imagine you wedding my garden and me talking to you in French ! 🙂
Wonderful to see your words and your garden!
Thanks , my friend
So glad you can go for walks Michel! You take care of yourself!! God bless you and Janine ❤
Yes I can walk but not too much and the garden has good dimensions for that
It’s so good to see you post again! Glad you’re better. Keep doing that. Janine’s picture of flowers is beautiful.
Thanks Gail.
Yes Janine is a talented photographer . 🙂

so glad you could enjoy the beauty of spring!
hugs, michel xo
Thanks ,Marlaine . I enjoy your comment. ❤
The image of your garden is literally a bright spot ! It gives me optimism to see that it and you are partaking of the general renewal. Lately I feel persistently that it misses me—ce qui je sais de l’experience c’est inquiétant . But I can still be encouraged by others’ fortune , you all are definitely in my thoughts and prayers ! 🙂
You worry me, Neil. What is happening to you?
Too much stress, I am afraid. I try to persevere!
Keep firm, Neil . Yes the botanic is source of peace for the mind.
It seems to me, Neil, that you need a more intense social life. Since you are interested in plants, why not join an association whose goal is to study plants in different environments? Don’t stay alone.
A-M & Johann
Merci pour ce gentil commentaire , Anne-Marie

Spring makes me smile…but this posting from you does, too! BIG smile! 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤️ 🙂
Thanks , Carolyn, for thoughts and prayers . The same for you. ( as I say in my today comment ) ❤
Thank you, Michel! 🙂 ❤️ I appreciate your thoughts and prayers very much, too.
Hopeful , Carolyn, you are well soon ❤
Great to see you again! Would it be lovely to sit in the shade and listen to the birds and little creatures?…
It’s often too humid and scorching here in Singapore. 1 minute in the sun feels like 10 minutes.
You write exactly what I like in the garden at this time ? Catherine: sit on a chair watching sky, trees, veggies and listening birds songs .<3
Such a blessing! 😊 God is good to us!
Thanks God . ❤
So glad that you are getting better, Uncle Michel. That’s the best part of the story. Sending you love and prayers❤️.
Thanks for your kind words , Isabel, very appreciated.
I’m so glad you’re a bit better, Michel! It’s great you are able to take a walk in your garden and admire the lovely blooms ❤️

Yes a place very inspiring, Holly ( like the seaside ! ) ❤
I love gardens, such sweet places, more so than the seaside with all the lovely sweet smelling flowers and bees and butterflies. Enjoy dear Michel❤️
You comment is like a poem, Holly. ❤
Gardens are poetry dear Michel ❤️
so true, Holly

Thanks, Val, for your thoughts and prayers to Marie ,in this beautiful month of May.<3
so thankful for your update, and the hope and peace you find in observing the beauty God has created in our world. thankful, too, that you are still able to get around, and walk in your garden
Thanks, Joyce .I am very thankful too. ❤
Glad you have been able to walk some in your garden and enjoy all the pretty flowers. I have been somewhat housebound as for shortness of breath, etc. Spent 9 hrs in ER in April, lots of tests, but haven been told much of anything. This getting older is really hard work. My peonies not blooming but should be by end of May. Some iris just starting to bloom. We’ve had a very cold spring and what few veggies I have are still in the little greenhouse. Hopefully by end of May, I can starting plant them and the 4 big flower pot I have. Take care of yourself and work on getting better. Thank you for sharing. Hugs to you and Janine. ❤ Marilyn
I did not know you had to go to the ER , Marilyn . Yes getting older i a hard work
You got a cold spring while here it is the drought since April .My town Amiens ( northern France ) could change its name : Amiens the drought ! 🙂 We don’t have seasons anymore.
Take care of you
Love ❤
Good news! I join others in congratulating you on feeling good enough for a garden walk! I have no doubt that was a big morale booster for both you, Janine, and your family!
Thanks, Doug, for your kind words about my health . Yes the garden despite it is not clean like before brings confort to both us..
I hope you’re doing well and am glad you were able to walk to the garden.
Thanks , Matt . I am trying to improve !
Michel, I’m so happy to see your post and the beautiful flowers growing in your garden. I’ve been thinking about you and Janine. Although you can’t work in the garden, taking a walk is very enjoyable in this beautiful weather. Enjoy and take care!
Yes , Louisa , I adapt myself to my health ! ❤
Bonjour Michel,
Abbracci.❤️
Hai ragione, sherazade, una passeggiata in giardino e osservare l’intensa vita vegetale è confortante
Morning Glorie! I’m so happy to see you post and share your garden with us again! It’s absolutely beautiful and Thanks to Janine for taking care of it and you! ILYM ❣️
The kiss of the sun for pardon, The song of the birds for mirth, One is nearer God’s Heart in a garden Than anywhere else on earth’ from ‘God’s Garden’, 1913, by English hymn-writer and poet Dorothy Frances Blomfield (1858–1932)
I agree with the quote , Marsha it is so true . ❤
It is so nice to hear from you Michel. Specially since you were sick. Janine know how to take good photos. 🙂
In fact I am still sick, Angy but I am a bit better than when I stopped the blogging .<3
Bon. One step at a time.
Bonne récupération Michel…
Merci pour tes encouragements , cher ami.
The peonies are beautiful and I am so glad you were able to be out and enjoy them!
yes Kathy, the peonies are beautiful under the sun but rain is missing here . This is the drought . Thanks for your comment
Dear Michel, I’m so sorry to learn you’ve been unwell.
I’m Pleased you are able to enjoy your peonies in your lovely garden
Sending healing thoughts for your recovery. 💙
By the way you have also a beautiful garden, Sue! ❤
Thank you 😊
I adore the crazy beauty of that garden.
Glad to hear you are doing better! Resa – ❤❤
Thahk you Resa . The garden is not like before but I like walk in ! ❤
I love it all wild!!!! ❤️
Perhaps, Resa, a bit of wildness gives some romantisme to the garden? ❤
Yes!!!!! xo
I’m so glad that you can enjoy your garden. Our afternoon rains have begun, so everything looks pretty good here.
I am glad you have rain enough , Cheri . Here in northern France it was the drought until then . But we got a little rain during a morning two days ago . It was good . ❤
Good to see you back. Lovely garden.
Thank you, Elizabeth. ❤
Bonjour MICHEL BONNE FETE A TON EPOUSE POR LES MAMANS

Mon ami amie

Bise Amitié Bernard A tous mes amis Amies Soyez Heureux
Michel
Gardens do have a way of making us feel better!
I am glad you’re getting better and praying you will continue to so you can again some day work in your garden. God bless you and Janine ❤
