I reach 89 years high!

J’atteins une hauteur de 89 ans.

  Après mon voyage d’Amiens (France ) à Toronto (Canada) en Décembre 2000 pour rendre visite à un soldat rencontré en 1944 , un ami m’ envoya en 2002 une photo de sa composition . Je pilote l’ avion !!. Ne trouvez – vous pas que j’ adresse au photographe une sourire crispé . Et que j ‘ ai une drôle d’ air avec mon casque en cuir !!

 Il écrivit en bas de la photo une expression latine « Quo non ascendet .? » ce qui signifie « Où ne montera – il pas « ? » Je peux dire que demain 12 Mars j’atteindrai 89 ! !!

After my trip from Amiens (France) to Toronto (Canada) in December 2000 to visit un soldier met in 1944, a friend sent to me in 2002 a picture he had just composed . I pilot the plane !! Don’ t you find I give a strained smile to the photographer ? and what a look with my leather helmet !!!

 He wrote at the right bottom of the picture a latin expression “ Quo non ascendet ? “ that meant  “ where won’t he go up ? “ . I can say tomorrow, March 12, I reach 89 years up !
