Here is the first photo of my wife Janine when I first met her for the first time in August 1957 during the holidays.
Mais, trop tôt pour se marier : études à terminer, service militaire à faire . Nous allions en visite dans la famille ou on se promenait dans la campagne ici et là quand nous pouvions nous rencontrer
But, too early to get married: studies to be completed, military service to be done. We would visit family here and there or riding in the countryside when we could meet.
Nous nous sommes mariés le 18 Février 1961
We were married on February 18, 1961
De cet amour 6 enfants sont nés.

Maintenant nous avons 15 petits enfants et deux arrière petits enfants
Now we have 15 grand children and two great grandchildren
Et nous serons heureux de fêter notre 61 ème anniversaire de mariage, Vendredi 18 Février 2022
And we will enjoy our 61th wedding anniversary on next February 18. 2022
