White and azure
Blanc et azur
English version above the pictures
Lately our daughters came help us : Isabelle worked in the garden , Véronique helped Janine in the kitchen and Carole( the duchess) took us to different specialists in driving twice from her home located to 75 miles from Amiens . I add two granddaughters helped in the house too. And a son Pierre who came earlier to till a corner of the veggie garden
It was a comforting time and the weather was wonderful. Véronique took some photos and th e white of the cherry trees in bloom made a superb contrast with the azure sky. An apple tree strats to blossom too but this is only promises of flowers .
cherry tree in bloom Cerisier en fleurs
promises of flowers of the apple tree promesses de fleurs du pommier
Janine has been pictured in the garden where she came to enjoy a little walk . She progresses with the physiotherapy but every session is a suffering. They say she will recover really in June, five months after her fall on January 7.
In waiting for this , let us celebrate the glory of Easter.
Photos taken by Véronique Fauquet
Oh how beautiful Michel. Prayers sent for Janine and her recovery. Have a lovely Easter.
Thanks for Janine , Ruth.
What a wonderful and caring family you have.
My heart goes out to Janine. It takes a long time to heal and it must be so very painful for her. My prayers are for complete healing for her…that she will be glad to resume her normal activities.
Beautiful Springtime where you live…”April in Paris'” Even though you don’t live in Paris. I can smell those blossoms…
Love,
votre amie

Yes but your photos are much better on your blog! 🙂
Thank you Michel, but I love how you share about your family. Peace and blessings.
My heart goes out to Janine. I hope the return of life to the garden lifts her spirits and hastens her recovery.
Yes, Judy, Janine is a fighter and the work she sees in the garden stimulates her
It is beautiful in your garden, and how wonderful your children and grandchildren came to help. June is not far away and by that time Janine would have been healed. Enjoy the beautiful Printemps with all the blessings of the blossoms!
Oui, Louisa le beau printemps nous encourage . merci.
What beautiful trees blossoming! And you are blessed with precious helpers in your garden! 🙂
Continued prayers for Janine. She has been through so much. 😦

(((HUGS))) and ❤
Yes we are blessed , Carolyn. Thanks for the prayers ; The same for you.
The blossoms against the sky are so achingly beautiful. Spring is my favorite season of all, not least for the hope it brings after a long winter. I am glad to see Janine getting some joy from the garden, too. It must be very hard to have been dealing with her injury so long! I am glad to hear that you have had help!
Yes Susan we have to seize those privileged moments so ephemeral
Amazing contrast of colour!
Poor grandma… I hope she’s be better soon! 💗💗💗
My very best wishes to Janine. ❤ The blossoms are so beautiful, Michel!
They are encouraging and stimulating,Marion.
Your children and grandchildren are such a blessing, coming to help you both through a hard time. The photos are beautiful. I’m sorry Janine is still not feeling back to normal. This has been a long road for you two.
I pray this Easter you both sense the sweet peace and presence of the Lord, as you worship Him together and celebrate our new life in Christ. May the healing blood of Jesus touch Janine and bring new strength to her body.
God bless you and your family this Holy season. I am praying for you.
Much love,
Caroline
Yes Caroline , Easter is the basis of our faith .
About Janine they say she has to wait for June to consider she is healed but she will find again the total use of her right arm only at next Christmas
The blossoms are so beautiful. We should be seeing them in our area in another month. We do have some daffodils in bud up against the south side of the house, and look forward to those soon. Poor Janine having to endure her therapy. I have a sister-in-law who had knee surgery, but had problems in recovery and had to have more surgery on it. She said the physical therapy after both surgeries was pure torture for her. She is still not completely better, and her first surgery was in October. Fortunately for me, my rehabilitation sessions are very mild, and no real exertion. Just to improve my stamina more than anything. I pray you and Janine have a Blessed Easter! Love to both of you! Nancy and Ken ❤
I have compassion for your sister , Nancy . yes the PT sessions are pure sufferings but so needed for the recovery.
Thanks for Easter .
Une fleur parmi les fleurs
Oh, what a beautiful photo of blossoms and blue sky. Spring has finally arrived. It was wonderful to see Janine out in the yard enjoying what Mother Nature provides. Nice that you and Janine have family close by to help. I understand the suffering that physical therapy inflicts with each session so that the end result is ‘recovery’. Wishing you and your family a very Blessed Easter. Love, Marilyn
You have summed very well Janine ‘ s situation, Marilyn. This recalls to me your right knee . In June things will go better but what a patience is needed and a resilience to the suffering.
Michel, I hope that Janine feels the blessings of Easter and recovers quickly. May you all have a beautiful holiday. XO Leslie
Thank you Leslie for your kind wishes.
How wonderful to have family be such a help. Nothing like family together.
Lovely photos.
Prayers for Janine as she continues to recover and for the pain to go away.
Happy Easter.
Le renouveau de la nature est le bienvenu et merveilleusement célébré dans votre famille!
Tous nos bons voeux pour de belles fêtes de Pâques et une guérison complète pour Janine au début de l’été!
Très cordialement, AM & Johann
I’m glad that Janine is recovering well, and that your wonderful family has been such a help. The blossoms are lovely!
Yes I like them too . Thanks for this kind comment.
Those cherry tree blossoms are purely beautiful, especially against that vivid sky!
I wish you and your loved ones a Blessed Easter.

Bonnes Pâques! It’s easy to see why we celebrate Easter around this time. If I had space, I would plant or try to encourage all sorts of good edibles, as much to watch them emerge out of the ground in the good weather as for the harvest: ramps (wild leeks), fiddleheads, asparagus, morels, . . .
Many sympathies for Janine. There’s no good thing to break, but the shoulder is probably very nearly the least bad one. In spite of the encumbrance, there’s much to give thanks for!
Thanks Neil for the wishes for Easter . I hope you got a great Day too .
I understand your dream of plant to see the edibles’ growing and be able to eat the produces of the garden.
Thanks for Janine . She is in progress but step to step and in suffering .
Wonderful pictures of/with the family!
Wishing Janine a speedy recovery.
For you and your family: May your Easter be filled with may blessings.
(Apologies for not sending a card this year, we have had several family related issues going on and time passed too quickly)
I hope , Yvonne,, those issues are not related to your parents’ health. .
Wishing all the family a Happy Easter , I hope that Janine feels better day by day x
I am so sorry to learn that Janine fell and was injured! I hope her recovery goes well. How wonderful that your family is able to come and help. I know that it is just as wonderful for them as it is for you. I took care of my mother and I would not trade that time for anything! I am thinking that your family feels the same way.
Yes we are blesse . janine and me are beloved and get help
Janine is still suffering after the PT session but those sessions make her in progress , step to step .
The trees are beautiful, Michel, and you are truly blessed with many loved ones helping out. Best wishes to Janine in her recovery and a very Happy Easter to you all, from Wendy and myself!
How lovely to see Janine out for a walk. And how beautiful your photographs are. I love to see the blossoms against the blue sky.
Janine still walks but in the limit of the tiredness. The problem isssss she cannot use her right arm ( and right shoulder ) . She xas told : healing will come in June.

How beautiful. Love these photos.
What beautiful flowers!
I hope Janine recovers soon.
Janine is in progress but her movements are still limited ? The PT sessions help her to progress but they are soreful.
How Lovely Mornin Glorie! It was very gracious of the children to come help in the garden, I know it was a blessing for Janine and you. We had a wonderful Easter, in our town, there is a park with a cave and a spring flows from it, we had Sunrise Service there, it was perfect! Then our choir sang a beautiful Easter Cantata. After Church all the small children gathered and hunted eggs, it was a wonderful day and I was thankful for it. ILYM
It is a pleasure to see a church so alive !
I would like to listen to the Easter Cantata !
