Madam the Duchess to the fields

Madame la Duchesse aux champs
Madam the Duchess to the fields

English version below the pictures

What a pleasure to have a horse ride through the fields at the end of October 2015 , alone or with her Knight Thierry and his carriage , without forgetting the dogs!  Madame the Duchess  Carole ( our oldest daughter )feels like in Heaven , . On the low hills the wind makes her cheeks red . She hears  the song of the earth. She is drunk of freedom .

The Duchess leads the way       La Duchesse ouvre la marche

It is also so much good to ride horseback on the little roads of the country side with some friends.

Vivid water and watercress bed                         eaux vives et cressonnière

And to change the pleasure, why not to go in the valley where a vivid and clear water flows in a river where the watercress is growing . She feels herself a part of this romantic landscape ! Madam the Duchess  is drunk of freedom .

a friend                                          Knight                                                   Duchess Carole

Drunk of freedom , yes , but not only according the last picture . This “simple”  picnic is also a part of the pleasure to have a horse ride in the nature.

    votre amie,

    • “My heart is at rest, my soul is in silence;
The far off noise of the world dies in its passage,
Like a sound that fades, weakened by distance,
Scarcely heard by the ear when borne on the wind”
( excerpt of the poem the valley of the French poet Alphonse de Lamartine )

Reading your blog gives me a glimpse of life in the countryside. I imagine I would love the countryside and enjoy its space and freedom.

  32. I understand you, Suzy . I do not think there is much country side in Singapore but they say that the Singapore’s airport owns the most beautiful botanical garden in the world . Do you know it ?
